In order to keep pace with an ever-advancing Internet and database technology, MIS professionals and students need to have a good understanding of data modeling, database design, database implementation, database application using Internet technology, enterprise databases, and object-oriented database processing. A good understanding of these topics will prepare professionals and students for the dynamic information era in which we now exist.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course covers the concepts related to database management and design using a variant of MYSQL. With the use of database systems, students will understand the capabilities and limitations of a system.
