This course gives you an introduction to the functional area of production and operations management as practiced in manufacturing and the service sectors.
It includes decision-making for the production process, facility layout in manufacturing and services industries, forecasting, capacity planning, project management, quality management, costing in production, logistics, inventory management, purchasing of materials, measuring and improving productivity.
On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
