Questions About Choosing UCC
Yes. UCC is institutionally accredited in Jamaica by the University Council of Jamaica and internationally accredited by ASIC with Premier Status. UCC is also registered by JTEC as an active university.
The UCJ provides institutional accreditation and confirms programme recognition. JTEC registers and regulates tertiary institutions operating in Jamaica. UCC is institutionally accredited by the UCJ and registered as an active university by JTEC.
UCC holds local and international institutional accreditation. However, overseas admission, employment, immigration assessment and professional licensing are determined by the relevant receiving institution, employer, regulator or government authority.
Selected bachelor's programmes are available fully online through UCC's asynchronous format. These programmes have no fixed class times, but students must meet weekly deadlines and assessment requirements.
