The course Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events Management gives students an overview of the required competences and skills to host and manage any events by applying the applicable techniques, principles and practices in this course. The course will allow students to exercise their innovation to execute events.
After successfully completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Examine the key characteristics of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events sector.
- Illustrate the range of existing leisure events, analyze their characteristics and their role in the development of tourism.
- Critically discuss the role of the stakeholders in managing, promoting and funding leisure events.
- Outline financial constraints, obligations and sources.
- Critically assess the range of operational and management tasks necessary in order to manage events successfully.
