Adjunct Lecturer - School of Behavioural Sciences, Humanities and Law
The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) invites dynamic and dedicated individuals to submit applications for the post of Full-Time Lecturer to join our academic team and contribute to our mission of excellence in higher education. The selected individuals will facilitate courses being offered by the School of Behavioural Sciences, Humanities and Law. These courses are offered within the Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Psychology, Social Work, Criminology and Criminal Justice and Law.

Basic Function and Responsibility:
Adjunct members of faculty are professional educators with the primary responsibility of providing teaching delivery and applied academic engagement for all students at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean. The responsibilities for this position will include some or all the following: lectures, seminars or online instruction, translate curriculum into actionable lesson plans, apply appropriate pedagogical strategies, student assessment and feedback, course management and academic support to students and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminology and Criminal Justice or related field
- Five (5) years teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.
- Doctoral degree would be an asset
