About Us
We are a rapidly-growing, forward-thinking group of companies united by a single purpose: harnessing innovation to create lasting social and economic impact. Our flagship entity is a dynamic mission-driven university committed to redefining accessible, career-focused education. Our companion group of companies consists of a real estate brokerage that is committed to empowering individuals and families to find and own property with confidence, and we are poised to launch a modern, digitally enabled microfinance company that will provide individuals and small business owners with limited access to traditional banking, fair and responsible financial solutions that create opportunities for growth and development. We believe artificial intelligence is the thread that can transform each of these businesses—and we’re looking for a visionary leader to weave it into everything we do.

The Role
As Group Chief AI Officer, you will architect and drive the AI strategy across three distinct yet complementary industries: education, real estate, and microfinance. This is a genuine C-suite role with the mandate, budget, and executive backing to build a centralized AI capability, embed intelligence into our operations, and create competitive advantage. You will report directly to the Group Executive Chairman and work hand-in-hand with each business unit’s leadership to turn bold ideas into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Group AI Strategy & Roadmap – Define a unified vision for AI that serves the unique goals of the university, the brokerage, and the new microfinance venture, prioritizing initiatives with the highest impact.
  • Education Transformation – Lead the deployment of AI for adaptive learning, student success analytics, intelligent tutoring, admissions optimization, and operational efficiency across the university.
  • Real Estate Innovation – Drive AI-powered property matching, automated valuation models, market intelligence, virtual property experiences, and next-generation customer relationship management for the brokerage.
  • Microfinance Launch & Scale – Architect the AI foundation for the new microfinance company: alternative credit scoring, risk assessment, fraud detection, personalized financial products, and chatbots for customer engagement and support.
  • Team Building & Capability Development – Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing centralized AI team while fostering data literacy and AI adoption across all business units.
  • Governance & Ethics – Establish robust frameworks for responsible AI, data privacy, model explainability, and regulatory compliance, ensuring our AI earns the trust of students, clients, and borrowers.
  • Innovation & Growth – Continuously scan the horizon for emerging AI technologies; identify new business models, partnerships, and revenue opportunities powered by AI.

What You Bring

  • Leadership Experience –  Mindset of a “builder” with 10+ years in technology, data science, or AI roles, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership or C-level position. Experience in a multi-entity, holding, or group structure is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Depth – Deep understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, computer vision, and the modern AI stack. You don’t need to code daily, but you can architect and build proprietary AI systems and credibly lead technical teams.
  • Sector Insight – Demonstrated experience applying AI in at least one of the following domains: edtech/education, proptech/real estate, or fintech/microfinance. Exposure across multiple sectors is a major advantage.
  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen – A track record of linking AI initiatives directly to revenue growth, cost optimization, customer satisfaction, and competitive differentiation.
  • Change Agent – Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills. You can win hearts and minds from the boardroom to the front line.
  • Process Automation - Conduct audit of manual bottlenecks and replace with AI workflows.
  • Data Strategy - Establish robust data governance and ethical AI usage.
  • AI Talent Leadership: Recruit and manage specialized AI/ML teams as required.
  • ROI-Driven Innovation: Identify high-impact use cases for cost reduction and revenue growth.
  • Educational Background – Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.

What We Offer

  • The chance to shape the AI future of a unique, purpose-driven group at the intersection of education, property, and financial inclusion.
  • A seat at the executive table with the autonomy and resources to build and execute your vision.
  • A competitive executive compensation package, including performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives.
  • A culture that values entrepreneurial thinking, speed, and real-world impact.
