Sean Thelwell Memorial Scholarship
College of Occupational and Applied Studies (COAS)
The Sean Thelwell Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life, service, and legacy of Sean Thelwell, a valued former employee of the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC). This scholarship recognizes his dedication, professionalism, and meaningful contribution to the University community.
Priority will be given to applicants who are enrolled in, or have been accepted to, one of the following programmes at UCC:
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management – ASc (COAS)
- Logistics and Operations Management or Production and Operations Management – BSc - Amount to be determined.
Applicants must:
- Meet the normal matriculation requirements for their selected programme or possess a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrate strong academic commitment, discipline, and interest in logistics, operations, or production management.
Applicants are also required to submit a written essay outlining:
- Their motivation for pursuing studies in logistics, supply chain, production, or operations management; and
- How the scholarship will support their academic and professional development goals.
Where suitable candidates within the specified fields are not identified, consideration may be given to students pursuing closely related disciplines.
