University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) Signs MoU with Heart/NSTA Trust

On Monday July 28, 2025, the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) and the Heart/NSTA Trust signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a commitment to provide access to educational opportunities across a broad spectrum of developmental areas including Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), digital transformation, entrepreneurship, higher apprenticeship, and other areas of mutual interest.

In his address, Professor Colin Gyles, CD, President of The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC), highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering the intellectual and career development of the workforce, equipping students to excel as leaders, innovators, and academics within a dynamic and supportive learning community.

Managing Director of HEART/NSTA Trust, Dr. Taneisha Ingleton, PhD, LLB (Hons.), emphasized the Trust’s aim to cultivate a capable, empowered population and its dedication to delivering accessible, relevant, and high-calibre training that drives both national progress and global impact.
