This consists of a review of current issues in business and management which influence the state of the profession, as well as theoretical frameworks and approaches which have relevance to the professional context which is being studied. A major programme of work which addresses issues in the workplace will be undertaken. The following will also be undertaken: evaluation of the work, and its impact upon the organisation; preparation of a portfolio; production of a reflective report, and the contribution of the programme of work to practice and the profession.
