Undergraduate Admission
UCC Bachelor of Science Degree Programmes (4 years)*
Basic Entry Level: UCC requires applicants to possess a minimum of five (5) subjects in the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) General Proficiency Level or General Certificate of Education (GCE) at grades 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C. Subjects must include Mathematics and English. A CXC pass at level 3 must have been obtained since 1998.
*Years 1 & 2 of the Bachelor of Science degree is also known as Associate of Science Degree.
Matriculation to the Upper Level (Years 3 & 4)
Please note that:
- Entry at this level is contingent on applicants possessing 60 transferable credits of prescribed courses from a recognized institution.
- Possessing an associate degree or diploma does not guarantee automatic entry to UCC.
- Prior qualifications will be assessed to determine the equivalence and relevance of the degree or diploma to the UCC programme for which candidates have applied.
- If you are from a country or institution where English is not your first language of instruction, you must demonstrate English proficiency in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).A minimum score of 500 is required.
- UCC reserves the right to request that candidates complete its own English Language Proficiency test in addition to the TOEFL test.
