1 Year Diploma Course
The UCC Diploma in Business Administration is ideal for managers, potential managers, senior supervisors, small business persons and persons desirous of pursuing careers in the field of business. This diploma is also recommended for credits to colleges by the American Council on Education.
Course Objective
To equip participants with the fundamental skills and competencies required to effectively manage and lead efficiency improvement strategies. After completing a diploma programme, individuals would have been introduced to key concepts and techniques underlying modern business processes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 CXC or GCE O Level subjects with passes at A, B, C
or Grades 1 or 2. Passes in English Language and Mathematics are
compulsory. Participants with CXC passes at Grade 3 since 1998 are also
eligible. - Applicants will be required to complete Placement Tests in Mathematics and English Language
- Other qualifications may be considered by the Registry (Admissions Unit) for their equivalence to the required subject passes.
- Relevant experience in a managerial position will be considered in addition to the above in determining admission.
PROGRAMME SCHEDULE
- Duration : Approximately 1 year
- Schedule for Kingston: Early Bird (Morning) Monday- Thursday (7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.)
Sundays (9:00 a.m.- 4:00p.m.) - Evenings (5:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.) for all other campuses
