UCC Masters of Business Administration
UCC – Master of Business Administration with options in:
- Disaster Management
- General Management
- Social Entrepreneurship
Duration: 20 months (part-time only)
Study Options:
Kingston only in the first cohort May 1, 2011 part-time on Sunday afternoons (1:00pm to 6:30pm), and one afternoon in the week (either Tuesdays or Thursdays between 5:30pm and 9:00pm).
- UCC and ISEE are committed to developing online components in due course.
Tuition Fees: US$11,500.00 (subject to change)
Course Layout
There are fifteen courses and five seminars, for a total of forty-five (45) credits.
Entry Requirements
Students may be required to sit the Commonwealth Executive Management Achievement Test (CEMAT). This instrument is provided through the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) at UCC. This may be required if an applicant does not have a Bachelor’s degree (approved) or if s/he has a degree with an accumulated Grade Point Average (GPA) below 2.7.
What is the CEMAT?
The CEMAT consists of multiple choice questions designed to assess the applicant’s capabilities in the following areas:
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Quantitative Techniques
- Reasoning
The CEMAT is administered by UCC at one of its centres (Kingston—Worthington Avenue, Old Hope Road, and Oxford Terrace; May Pen, Mandeville, Savanna-La-Mar, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios). A fee is charged to cover administrative costs.

- Ministry of Finance (Government workers only)
