Sundays (9:00 am – 5:45 pm)
INSTRUCTIONS: Instructions will be provided by an eminent and highly qualified team of local faculty and other professionals. Overseas guest lecturers will be utilised where appropriate.
QUALITY OF PROGRAMME: The University of London is recognized nationally and
Internationally as a centre of academic excellence. The quality of its degrees is assured through the assessment and examination process.
Upon completion of the programme, you are awarded a University of London degree. There is only one University of London degree and it is awarded both to students attending in London and external students.
TEXTBOOKS: The core text for the 4 first-year compulsory courses will be provided by UOL once the initial registration fee has been paid.
Students will be responsible for purchasing all other texts.
Some Textbooks may be purchased at competitive prices from the UCC Book & Gift Centre.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must hold one of the following:
6 CAPE units (including 2 double unit courses) +3 CSEC (including English Language)
2 ‘A’ levels + 3 O’levels
3-Year Diploma (accredited by UCJ)
Associate Degree (accredited by UCJ)
Bachelor Degree (accredited by UCJ)
Other acceptable qualifications may also be considered. (See UOL prospectus for details).
EXEMPTIONS: Students with an accredited bachelor’s degree may be considered for the graduate entry route. Persons admitted via this route may be automatically exempted from no more than 3 of the 12 units or courses.
UOL FEES: £3,071 (Scheme A & Graduate Entry Route B)
All UOL fee payments are to be made by pound sterling draft made payable to University of London.

ADDITIONAL COSTS: Overseas Exam Centre’s administrative fee – $2,900.00 per subject.
NB: All fees are subject to change annually and at
short notice.
STUDENT LOAN: Applicants may apply for a student’s loan offered by one of several local financial institutions.
N.B. Interim payments should be negotiated with the Student Financial Services Department until loans are finalized.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Individuals interested in applying for admission to the UOL programme should submit the following:
- One passport sized photo
- Both UOL and UCC Application Forms for
Undergraduate Degree Programmes
- Official transcript(s) from every college/tertiary
institution/ university attended
- Non-refundable UOL and UCC application handling fees are required (see above and UOL prospectus).
DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE: Attach a photo copy of one of the following as proof of your full name (including any change of name) and date of birth to your application:
- A birth certificate
- Passport
- Marriage certificate
- Deed poll
- Statutory declaration
- Alien’s registration certificate
NB: Submit either the *original certificate(s) showing the final awards for each qualification or photocopies of these originals verified by a British Council official.
*original certificates will be sent to London.

There is a J$400 charge for each copy to be certified.
NB: Late applications will only be considered by UCC on a case-by-case basis and on the availability of space.
The Institute reserves the right to withdraw/postpone a scheduled course if the
registration is insufficient. In this event, UCC will refund all fees already paid towards the withdrawn course.
Application fees are non-refundable.
