In 1996, IMS, a subsidiary of the UCC, began forming some unique local and international alliances that became integral to its success in Jamaica. In addition, membership was sought and obtained in prestigious local and international umbrella organisations such as the Joint Committee on Tertiary Education, the American Council on Education, the Association of Caribbean Tertiary Institutions, the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, the Jamaica Computer Society, the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce and the Jamaica Association of Training and Development.

		The UCC’s partnership with the prestigious Florida International University started in 1999. These programmes have proven popular with Jamaican scholars and employers alike. Currently UCC offers the FIU Executive MBA, MSc. in Curriculum & Instruction and the MSc. Human Resources Management programmes.
		For 153 years, University of London degrees have been accessible to students all over the world through the University of London International Programmes. Today, the The University of London International Programmes is truly international in character with over 50,000 students in more than 190 countries. 		The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) was inspired by the vision that the peoples of the Commonwealth must and can have access to knowledge, regardless of where they live and whether they are rich or poor. The Commonwealth Executive MBA/MPA (CEMBA / CEMPA) Programmes complement existing MBA/MPA programmes offered in the Commonwealth — to meet the demand for post-graduate management and public administration education.
